Yes! Open MLX Studio and on the bottom of your dashboard, click User Guide.
No. MLX Studio is an assembly and publishing tool. It is not an authoring tool. Therefore, before you begin using MLX Studio, you should plan, create, and organize your course so that you are ready to assemble and publish in MLX Studio.
No. You
should determine where you will host your content files before you begin to
assemble your course in MLX Studio. Some common storage locations include
SharePoint and TFS.
Note: if your course has a lot of large media files, store them outside of TFS
due to LeXITS requirements and the inability for TFS to scale for infinite
storage. You may use
\\mslt-9\DL-Media

Send an email to the MVA MLX Studio Administrators alias and request permissions. In the email, include your login email address ( alias @microsoft.com ), the reason you need access, and they type of access you require. Refer to the MLX Studio User Guide for more information.
Yes. All Learning Experiences (LeX) course content must comply with Microsoft policies. The LeX Compliance Team ensures that all content is compliant with the requirements for published content.
Can I run compliance scans after I upload content?
No. You must complete all
compliance scans on files before you upload them to MLX Studio.
Yes. If you need to stop working on your course and save your changes, click the ellipses on the bottom right of the Assemble page and then click Save and Quit. All changes will be saved.
How
do I resume my course in MLX Studio?
Open MLX studio, search
for and open your course, and then click Resume Assembly.
Yes. When you upload your content completely and correctly, you will see the Preview button. Click Preview and MLX Studio launches the MLX course player. The course player allows you to review all your course content to ensure that it is working and rendering correctly.
If your content has been uploaded correctly, you can click the ellipsis on the bottom right of the Assemble page in MLX studio and you will see the option to Save and Quit.
The Preview button is disabled (greyed out) if there are any content items that are pending processing . After everything is processed, the Preview button will be available.
If the site times out while you are uploading content, click anywhere in the browser window to re-authenticate yourself.
Post your issue on MVA Help on Yammer . The support team will respond within 24 hours.
“The account you are currently logged in with needs content author privileges to access this page. Please sign out and sign back in with a content author account.” This means that the account you have logged in with doesn’t have permissions on MLX Studio. Please contact MVA MLX Studio Administrators to request access.
